MORRIGAN
There are three bands called Morrigan.

1. Morrigan (Black Metal/Viking Metal)

Morrigan is a german Black Metal/Viking Metal Band which was formed in 2000 by Balor and Baldur. They were both founders of the Band Mayhemic Truth (1992). But after some releases they decided to split up. After two years Balor and Baldur decided to start a new project, named Morrigan.

Morrigan's music is highly influenced by the swedish Black Metal (early)/Viking Metal(later) band Bathory. Also the the development of Morrigan's music resembles to Bathory. Their deubut Album "Plague, Waste And Death" sounds like old fashioned Black Metal music of the 80s. But with the release of "Celts" they began to play epic Viking Metal with Black Metal influences.

2. Morrigan (Progressive/ Melodic Power Metal)

Morrigan is also a german Power Metal Band from Fulda which was formed in 1997. Their first and only album named "Forgoden Art" was released in 1999. Meanwhile the band split-up.

3. Morrigan (Heavy/Progressive Metal)

There is also a band from argentina called Morrigan. The band was founded in 2002.
Their first demo was released in 2003. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
