Olav Basoski
Olav Basoski is a Dutch DJ/remixer from Haarlem, Netherlands, where he was born and raised.
Basoski, whose family heritage traces back to Poland and is the descendant of a Polish soldier, has been a DJ since the age of 15 and has amassed more than 200 recordings under different aliases as well as remixes for various artists like Moby, Mirwais and Phats & Small. With Erick E he founded the record label WORK.
In 2005 Basoski teamed up with UK Dancehall artist Michie One to record "Waterman," a remake of the famous Dancehall classic "Bam Bam" (originally recorded by Sister Nancy), which is becoming a major hit in the United States at both clubs and radio, where it debuted at number 22 on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay chart in its March 27, 2006 issue. He has feaured on many compilation CDs including the UK's Ministry of Sound.
